Thanks for the friend add.Looking forward to meeting you this coming weekend. In the early 80's my father(Rick Rosales),had the pleasure of meeting you at the SCDA location in Culver City,Calif.Wishing you safe travels to the USA.
Thanks for accepting me as a friend, can you tell me if it is true that you threw away your darts after the St Davids day massacre an international against wales in the 70's or early 80's I hope this is true as I have a set that was given to my mum, given to her by a BDO official at the time who picked them up with this story and I have had them ever since, I did play with them for a while but They did not make me play like you, I no longer use them, but they are kept safe?
Well, I'm sitting at the British Bar on the shore of Tenerife, down by the port. I searched long and hard by foot but couldn't find a dartboard, although I found one place that was closed. I'll definitely need more time to explore next time I'm back in the Canary Islands. Keep up the good reporting and posting JL...hopefully I'll see you in LA for your exhibition!
I'm still waiting for some advice from Mr. Lowe on Tenreife...or Palma for that matter. Where are the dart bars sir?! Send me some contacts and pub info please! Or Spain, Portugal, or even see if you can hook me up with Wayne for a bit when I'm in Barbados! (Nov 5 on the Grandeur) Thanks sir!
Was on chat and saw ur comment about the fight. I am curious if u have heard of Carl Thompson? He is the cruiserweight that ko'd Haye in round 5. I am a former boxer and no doubt in my mind that i could beat carl. I would love to see it but very doubtful. Emmanuel Steward is in Klitsch corner so that minimizes the chances haye has. I saw he will be out in the 7th
I am very interested in the possibility of having you over for a tour... Just curious on how many locations you need to book to make this possible, and also what you charge to either come over or per location.
We`ve had Cliff, Bob, Dennis, Peter over a couple of times about 15 years ago... so I know our dart community would support it. Your name has surfaced many times as a hopeful appearance... The people who used to look after bookings have since left our area darts.
I`m kind of new to this idea, can you let me know the details..
Hi John I am switching my old 8mm tapes to DVD's and I was viewing the challenge match you had at the DARTBoARd and caught you dancing with little Mikey. Patty came over to see and said do you remeber John saying "What's with these players everybody wants to play me" Good Video, lots to drink! Gold was fun your friends were nice especially the big Cliff. we were still at the bar you know we would be inviting you for your tour. Good Luck!
Hi John.....many thanks for comment...just working out how to open a Group page but will have it ready shortly. How's the golf game ? Like the American Tour plan..should be great but remember it can be cold in Vegas that time of year !!! Just off to do radio show with DJ Doris...live at noon....
Apology for the late response John - I was on holiday in NZ. My thoughts go out to all those that have been affected by the natural disasters both in New Zealand and Australia.
A group such as this can only be benificial to the continued growth of our sport. It is heartening to see the extent here in Australia how the profile of darts has lifted with such events as Premier League shown in real time on television. Long may it continue - success builds success
Hi John, congrats on being a 'featured' member of dartbook. You do such a beautiful job using your pages to promote and protect the integrity of the sport. Congrats again and thanks for being an example to all DartBookers.
