This is me, out in the world, floating the origins of the Amazon River,
far away in the Peruvian Andes,
a day after a leg of darts at the foot of Macchu Picchu.
It combines four of my five favorite things--
travel, rivers, darts, other cultures, and Portland.
And, sometimes in life, four is better than five.
This is me, happy to be home, among my fellow TrailBlazers fans,
in the Rose Garden, in the City of Roses, win or lose,
where microbrews flow like waterfalls,
and we secretly scoff at umbrella toting tourists.
I may travel far and wide, but Rip City will always be headquarters.
And, sometimes in life, team play is better than singles.

A write up on Bob and me, don't think that will be that exciting. Brizilian Darts in general would be a good read. I think you are hook into the Darts Brazil Facebook page. you might be able to get a good story through there. there are a few of the main people (i.e the president) there that speak a bit of english. maybe you even met a couple of them at the world cup.
Nathan Perks said… Hey Thorn, can you tell me how much the insidedarts mag will cost?

Mate, I think there is defo something to discuss, was speak ing to John Lowe last week before he went to Denmark this weekend. I'm having all my email addresses for my team on ID and the web subs page moved to a new server this weekend but can receive emails. Please send me your email address to chris@insidedarts.co.uk and I will forward a proposal over the next few days. Can you answer me a question is Bull's eye news still going? I'd never heard of it, whats the circulation? Thanks Chris
Marcki Murdock said… It was nice meeting you and putting a face with the magazine article you wrote. Hope to see you at the Las Vegas Open tournament. David Irete said he will be there but only one day. I'll be there with Jay Tomlinson and the Bull's Eye News booth for the duration.

Cees van Leeuwen said… Top of Ghent wasn't too bad. Nice spacious venue. I think the board mesurements were a bit off. Heard a lot of people complaining about this. Anyway, this would have been the same for everyone, so where's the problem?
Made it through to the last 64, then I had to play Jan Dekker. He took the game 4-1, fair and square.
Karin made it to the last 16 then lost to Carla Molema after a couple of unlucky darts. Never mind though, we had a great day. Next...Czech Open. As far as I've heard there is gonna be dutch invasion. We'll see. :-D
Cees van Leeuwen said… Will do Thorn, and thanks for adding me to your friends list.
I'll try to keep my information uptodate, so people on Dartbook may follow.
First item: This weekend Top of Ghent in Gent (Belgium). Just the singles for Karin and me.
Next will be the Czech Open in Prague. I intend to win that one... :-D
See ya!
