Comment by Roger Herbert on October 29, 2012 at 12:51am Tuesday week 6 and Monday week 5 stats are posted on the web site. In addition, the B Division Singles & Doubles results are posted as well.
It was a great time - 33 players for singles!
FYI - the mail will be late going out this week because it might get soaked in the USPS box waiting for pick up. (Zone A!)
Stay safe everyone - we will review the ability to play the regular Tuesday schedule after we see what happens Monday. Please read the other post.

Comment by Roger Herbert on October 28, 2012 at 12:57pm NYDO - Postponement Information
Captains / Second Contacts / Darts Underground Group Members / Facebook Group Members -
They are shutting down New York City's mass transportation and ordering evacuation of Manhattan's Zone A areas. We can't (won't) argue with city hall.
Therefore, we are postponing this week's dart schedule. At this point the postponement is for BOTH the Monday & Tuesday league schedule. However, if things get back to normal quicker than anticipated and things are OK for Tuesday we ask you to consider playing.
For those of you that are truly local to your bars, you always have the option of playing your match if both teams agree. (We consider that just 'playing early'.)
The postponement means that we will change the dates for the schedules - pushing everything back a week. We are not moving the coming week to the end! All subsequent weeks are pushed back.
All team captains & second contacts were e-mailed the Excel spreadsheet with all captains contact information as it was provided to us. If you have a problem opening the file, get in touch with us to get the information you need.
We expect you all to be adults about this. Speak with your counterpart if you want to make any arrangements.
So, once again Monday, Week 6 is now scheduled for November 5th. Tuesday, Week 7 is now scheduled for November 13th.
Tuesday people we are sorry that this will mean that you miss 2 weeks in a row - one for Hurricane Sandy & one for Election Day. But, this might change. If things are OK on Tuesday, we will give you a go ahead and reinstate the use of October 30th. IF we do reinstate the 30th and you still have issues, you can just go ahead with a standard postponement. As long as both captains speak to each other and agree. We will not charge the point for postponing in that case.
Stay safe everyone,
Roger & Martin
Comment by Roger Herbert on October 26, 2012 at 12:41am Oops oops oops - sorry for the conflicting data in the last posting. (Bad cut & paste job - my bad.)
At any rate, the B Division event is at FLANNERY'S, not Percy's.
Hope to see you there,
Sorry, Roger
Comment by Roger Herbert on October 23, 2012 at 11:54pm PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR TEAMMATES!
Reminder B Division Singles & Doubles Event is THIS SATURDAY, October 27th - at Flannery's Bar
Please share this with your fellow teammates. If you already have done so, you might want to remind them that it is THIS week. FYI Flannery's is having a Halloween Party at night, so feel free to play in costume or bring one with you and stay for it.
This coming Saturday - B Division Singles & Doubles at Percy's Tavern. Registration opens at 12:30 play starts at 1:00 sharp. B Division players of C Division Players that did not play in the C Division Event only! No A division players allowed.
If a B Division player wants to play in the A division, that's OK. But, not the other way around. So, it is only B or C players - come on out.
For the divisional singles & doubles you only get 'one bite at the apple'. You can only play at one level for the season so, "choose wisely".
But this does not apply to the ladies event. Ladies can play in their divisional event and also play in the ladies only event in December.
Please remind your team that if they play in the B on one night and in the A on the other, they must play at the 'higher' level. This means you are not competing with the A Division players. We'd like to get an even better turnout than last season, where we had 22 for singles. So, please forward this on to your other team members, even if you are not able to show up yourself. The turnout for the C event was very bad, so we are hoping that some of those no shows come out this Saturday.
Remember, for the doubles, if you don't have a partner from your own team, you can draw one at random from the other available players.
We hope to see you all there!
