Rob, a plan has to be drawn up so that we all can do some thing to help. As a bar owner with darts my main focus, I would do a tourny for raising funds. Let us propose a day where we all can do some…Continue

I measure every grief...

I measure every grief I meet
With analytic eyes;
I wonder if it weighs like mine,
Or has an easier size.

I wonder if they bore it long,
Or did it just begin?
I could not tell the date of mine,
It feels so old a pain.

I wonder if it hurts to live,
And if they have to try,
And whether, could they choose between,
They would not rather die.

I wonder if when years have piled--
Some thousands--on the cause
Of early hurt, if such a lapse
Could give them any pause;

Or would they go on aching still
Through centuries above,
Enlightened to a larger pain
By contrast with the love.

The grieved are many, I am told;
The reason deeper lies,--
Death is but one and comes but once
And only nails the eyes.

There's grief of want, and grief of cold,--
A sort they call 'despair,'
There's banishment from native eyes,
In sight of native air.

And though I may not guess the kind
Correctly yet to me
A piercing comfort it affords
In passing Calvary,

To note the fashions of the cross
Of those that stand alone
Still fascinated to presume
That some are like my own.

Anne, that's a great idea! It shouldn't be a problem doing a 50/50 raffle that weekend. I guess someone just need to take on that responsibility.

As usual the Dart community comes together in times of crisis. Well done to all the darters from around the world.

Drop that order for a Quadrople Venti Extra Pump Mocha @ $6 and donate that warm bit of luxury to those standing for hours in line for a warm cup of soup or a chance to charge their phones.  Yes I know there are natural disasters that hit all over the world, but none such as this which struck at the heart of the darting community.  The PERFECT Dart Tour had taken place the day before the earthquake and Tsunami hit, taking over 10,000+ lives and directly affected some of our friends and fellow darters.  Let's show our unified support - Darters helping Darters!  PODCAST-aThon coming up, stay tuned!
